This is a picture of Dryden Road the Scotlands V.J street party on 14th august 1945 I would love to here from anyone who is on the Picture, this picture was taken at the top of the road looking out over Bushbury Hill, more of Bushbury Hill later

This is Dryden road as it is today bit of a change from when I knew it  

This is were my life all started for me no 1 the back of 51 Coventry Street off the Willenhall Road 

   The old man worked at Chillington edge tools on the Willenhall road

I was twelve months old when we left 

and Moved to Bushbury Hill

This is the British Oak on the corner of Coventry Street

This is another pub the old man used to use the Maltshovel a bit further up from the British Oak

before I go on I must mention the Beehive which is on the right hand side in Coventry Street 

This is the Highcroft bar in Bushbury in the 50s  had a few pints in that corner 
Wednesfield Way before they knocked this lot down, another picture later will show you how it's all going  

 The Vine on the Stafford Rd knocked down in 2005 what a shame

 I take some strange pictures but this one I took is of the start of the M6 toll road Laney green this is another one of laney green  turn left here and you can be in North Wales on the M54 in a couple of hours What have they done to The Pool Hayes  pub in Willenhall let me know if you do and I will put the story on this page, in fact if you have any story about the Blackcountry let me know  thanks. This is a photo of the lounge in the CrossKeys Willenhall before they modernized it. But no look for the Royal Oak in the Scotlands Lowhill this is just before they knocked it down.

Let's get away from it all for a bit, and have a bit of fresh air and see some countryside around the Blackcountry, everywhere I go I usually take the camera so you know they are all new and  you haven't seen them before
