ARLEY

Arley is a village on the banks of the River Severn a few miles south of bridgenorth Most of the village is on the east bank of the river. There used to be a ferry to cross the river, this has been replaced in recent years by a footbridge. Villagers have to cross the river to reach the railway station which is on the preserved Severn Valley Line. The preservation society has made a considerable effort to preserve the flavour of an English country railway station. .
